Welcome to the first day of Merry Makers 2023! We wanted to put together a little holiday gift for you, so join us and our fellow Merry Makers as we stitch our way through a free quilt pattern. Over the next two weeks, we’ll feature each Andover designer and their quilt block as we build our quilts together. Make sure to visit every designer to download your pattern.
Today is the first block from the lovely Max and Louise Pattern Co called Love in the Mist.
Max and Louise colored their block so beautifully (don’t forget to download the full block instructions from them), and I really wanted to bring that depth of color to my version. So for fabrics, I picked a medium-ish and and dark-ish print of orange, green, and cream.
And then I couldn’t resist seeing what it looks like as whole quilt of Love in the Mist.
