I am at the wonderful age where all my friends are having lots of cute little babies. This also means that my Pinterest is blowing up with baby decorating ideas, tips, and sayings. One day while I snuggled my feline fur babies and scrolled through, one post in particular caught my eye:
“Though she be but little, she is fierce.”
It’s a line from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and while it’s perfect for hanging on the wall of a nursery, I took it as a great philosophy to make some mini quilts. Cue the Fierce Quilts!
We took some of our favorite patterns and played around with the scale so that the finished quilt measures less than 24″. Ta dah! Fierce quilt. They’re the perfect size for mini quilt swaps, door hangings, or a wallhanging project. And you can tell everyone that you’re a fierce quilter after you make one. Who wouldn’t want that?!
