When we were talking about building a new blender, we wanted to really think about ‘blender’ as apposed to ‘tonal’. We were thinking about how cross-weaves pull contrasting colors together in an even mix to really help support and blend fabrics across a project. That’s how we got started with Nebula.

It’s a swirly whirly spacey blender print in 24 cosmic hues. Nebula has more oomph than a solid but it doesn’t have quite the print needed in a focus group. We also really wanted to pay attention to scale; Nebula cuts up perfectly for quilts, you see the pattern how ever you chop it up!

Also I will admit that being able to name my own Nebulas was very fun. Who wouldn’t want to hang out in the Duckling, Lipstick, or Paradise Nebula?

We also designed plenty of of new projects to show off all the colors. Check out our Huddle and Sweeties quilts, and new pattern Galileo.

And we’re not the only quilters whose patterns work with Nebula. Check out the projects from our friends at Art East Quilting Co, Megan Collins Design, Pen and Paper patterns, and Janet Houts. They all sparkle and show off all you can do with Nebula.

It’s a beautiful assortment of 24 colors that work for so many different types of projects. We can’t wait to see what you make with it!
